This celebrated team, known for delivering iconic Kannada classics such as Thayi Illada Thabbali and Kaurava, is now taking a bold creative turn. Moving away from their signature rural melodrama roots, the trio aims to connect with a Gen Z audience through a fresh, contemporary concept while retaining strong emotional and musical depth.
Having collaborated on nearly 20 films in the past and celebrated a remarkable run of successes many of them musical blockbustersthe duo is now set to craft yet another visually rich and emotionally resonant cinematic experience.
Backing this ambitious venture is producer K.C. Vijay Kumar, a trusted pillar of the Kannada film industry for over three decades. Known for his unwavering support and belief in quality cinema, he has stood as a financial backbone to several notable projects and now brings his vision and experience to this prestigious collaboration.
The film will be produced under the Shree Gururayaru Cinema banner. The project is set to go on floors soon, with the makers announcing that the film’s official title, along with the complete cast and technical crew, will be unveiled on the 16th of this month on the eve of Makara Sankranthi.
With legendary names, a proven creative combination, and a renewed vision aimed at the younger generation, this upcoming project is poised to be one of the most anticipated Kannada films in the coming year.
