Inspired by a drunkard’s persistent claim of sobriety, Bhat crafted the lyrics and insisted on Sharan’s voice for the rendition. Despite Sharan’s initial hesitation due to a lack of formal training, Bhat’s persistence resulted in the song’s completion. The music for the Yogaraj Bhat Amalu song Sharan was composed by the duo Chetan-Davy and produced by Mahadevappa R. Kanakapura under the Panchrangi Audio banner.
Released amidst much fanfare, the song has been well-received, with Sharan expressing happiness at the positive response. He noted that the track carries deeper life meanings beyond its surface theme. The team, including producer Kanakapura and event organizers, celebrated the release at the serene “Sukha” venue in Nagarabhavi, hinting at more musical projects from Bhat in the near future.
