Sumalatha also appreciated Darshan’s fans for their dedication and expressed confidence that the film will do well at the box office.

A Special Bond With Darshan

It is notable that Darshan currently in judicial custody in connection with the Renukaswamy murder case has always publicly referred to Sumalatha as “Mother India.”
Darshan, along with Yash, played a crucial role in campaigning for Sumalatha during the 2019 Parliamentary elections, helping her win the Mandya seat as an Independent candidate against Nikhil Kumaraswamy.

The Devil Releases Without Darshan

With Darshan unable to participate in promotions, The Devil is set to release on December 11 in his absence. His wife Vijayalakshmi and the film’s team have been actively promoting the project across Karnataka.

About the Film
