n a landmark achievement for Karnataka politics, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah longest-serving CM Karnataka tenure is set to be officially recognized, cementing his place in the state’s administrative history. The Congress party is planning a series of events to commemorate the milestone of Siddaramaiah longest-serving CM Karnataka, highlighting his cumulative years in office and his influential role in shaping the state’s development and welfare landscape.

A major state-level ceremony is being organized in Bengaluru, expected to be attended by senior Congress leaders, ministers, legislators, and representatives from various social groups. The party is also considering a formal acknowledgment within the Karnataka Legislative Assembly to place on record his years of service and key policy decisions.

To connect with the public, district-level meetings will be held across the state, focusing on the implementation of government guarantee schemes and direct interaction with beneficiaries. Additionally, commemorative materials, including a special publication and a documentary chronicling Siddaramaiah’s journey from grassroots leadership to the chief minister’s office, are slated for release.

The celebrations are strategically viewed as an opportunity to reinforce Siddaramaiah’s image as an experienced administrator and to strengthen the party’s unity and narrative ahead of the 2026 local body elections and the 2028 Assembly polls, with Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar and other senior leaders expected to participate prominently.
