The wave of speculation around the release date of Rocking Star Yash’s upcoming film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has now been firmly put to rest. The film will release worldwide on March 19, 2026, exactly as originally scheduled — confirming there has been no delay in its timeline.
The clarification came after well-known trade analyst Taran Adarsh reached out to the production team regarding growing rumours of a postponement. He later issued a public statement confirming that Toxic is progressing as planned.
According to Taran, post-production and VFX work began in April, while Yash simultaneously commenced his shoot for Ramayana in Mumbai. The final leg of filming for Toxic is currently underway in Bengaluru, and promotions are expected to begin in January 2026.
Adding to the confirmation, production house KVN Productions posted a countdown on X:
“140 days to go…
His Untamed Presence,
Is Your Existential Crisis.
#ToxicTheMovie releases worldwide on 19-03-2026.”
The release date aligns strategically with Gudi Padwa, Ugadi and various regional New Year celebrations — followed closely by Eid, ensuring a long festive holiday box office advantage.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, Toxic has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed releases planned in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and more. The film marks Yash’s return to the big screen after the monumental success of KGF, raising expectations to an exceptional level.
The film is jointly produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations.
With clarity restored and momentum building, the stage is now set —
Yash is coming. And the world is watching.
