The Karnataka Startup Policy 2025-2030 sets an ambitious roadmap to strengthen the state’s innovation ecosystem, with a budget of ₹518.27 crore aimed at fostering 25,000 new startups over the next five years. A key feature of the Karnataka Startup Policy 2025-2030 is its regional focus 10,000 of these ventures are targeted outside Bengaluru, promoting balanced entrepreneurial growth across tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
Focusing on deep-tech domains like AI, blockchain, quantum computing, semiconductor design, and biotechnology, the Karnataka Startup Policy 2025-2030 aims to position the state as a global innovation hub. The policy introduces “Elevate NxT,” a flagship program providing grants, incubation support, and R&D subsidies to accelerate early-stage startups and strengthen the research ecosystem.
Already home to over 18,300 startups and 45+ unicorns, Karnataka’s Karnataka Startup Policy 2025-2030 seeks to expand this momentum through new tech clusters, improved funding access, and inclusive regional development, ensuring the state remains at the forefront of India’s startup revolution.
