Darshan’s big-ticket film Devil is officially moving forward on the business front as KVN Entertainment has acquired the Darshan Devil Karnataka Distribution Rights, putting an end to weeks of speculation in trade circles. The film is set for a grand release on December 11, 2025, and excitement across Sandalwood continues to build.
Industry insiders confirm that KVN one of Karnataka’s leading production and distribution companies has secured the film’s statewide distribution after intense negotiations. With Darshan’s massive fan base and high market pull, distributors had been eyeing Devil as one of the most promising commercial releases of 2025.
Reports from trade trackers indicate that the distribution cost may be in the range of ₹38–40 crore, though it remains unclear whether the deal is a Minimum Guarantee (MG) arrangement or structured as an advance-based agreement. The business shape is expected to become clearer as the release draws closer.
Meanwhile, music giant Saregama, which has reportedly invested ₹30–35 crore in the project, is awaiting settlement of returns before the film’s theatrical rollout. Additionally, multiple territories outside Karnataka have shown strong interest, raising speculation on a wider release strategy.
With Darshan’s star power, a high-voltage production scale, and rapidly intensifying trade buzz, Devil is shaping up to be one of Sandalwood’s most-awaited films of the year.
