One of the biggest highlights of Balaramana Dinagalu is the involvement of celebrated Tamil music director Santhosh Narayanan, who joins the Kannada industry with this film his 51st project.
Known for his blockbuster albums for stars including Rajinikanth, Santhosh expressed excitement about composing for his first Kannada film and promised a distinctive musical identity for the project. True to his word, he has already completed the soundtrack, and the first song is scheduled for release in December.
A Period Drama Set in the 1980s
Directed by K.M. Chaitanya and produced by Padmavati Jayaram and Shreyas under the Padmavati Films banner, Balaramana Dinagalu is set in the 1980s, with cinematography handled by Venu.
Vinod Prabhakar plays the titular role of Balarama, while Priya Anand returns to Kannada cinema after several years — adding to the film’s growing curiosity among fans.
