The Azad Bharat movie is set for a grand nationwide release on January 2, bringing the powerful story of Indian National Army (INA) spy Neera Arya to cinemas. Directed by and starring Sandalwood actor Roopa Iyer, the Azad Bharat movie serves as a poignant tribute to Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose and the unsung heroes of India’s freedom struggle.
Iyer, who makes her Bollywood debut with this project, emphasized the film’s significance. “This Azad Bharat movie is our tribute to Netaji. We are releasing in 800 halls because we want every Indian to connect with this story of national pride,” she stated. The film boasts a notable cast including Shreyas Talpade, Suresh Oberoi, and Kannada actor Hitha Chandrashekhar.
With a screenplay by National Award-winner Varun Gautham and music by Gautham Srivatsaa, the Azad Bharat movie aims to spotlight a crucial yet overlooked chapter of history. The director has also planned special screenings for women leaders across fields and extended invitations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Draupadi Murmu. The Azad Bharat movie promises to be both an engaging cinematic experience and a meaningful homage to India’s revolutionary past.
