In a bid to ensure the smooth and fair conduct of upcoming SSLC and II PU examinations, the Karnataka government has announced strict monitoring of popular social media platforms, including WhatsApp and Telegram. Authorities aim to curb the circulation of leaked question papers and misleading content that could disrupt the examination process. Officials warned that individuals found sharing confidential exam material or spreading rumours online will face stringent legal action under relevant laws. The move forms part of broader preventive measures introduced to safeguard academic integrity and maintain public confidence in the state’s examination system.
