Yash’s ‘Toxic’ Seals ₹120 Crore Telugu Distribution Deal Ahead of Release

Even before its theatrical release, actor Yash’s much-awaited film Toxic has created a major business milestone. The Telugu distribution rights for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have been acquired by producer Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations for a staggering ₹120 crore. While crossing the ₹100-crore mark is not uncommon for straight Telugu big-budget films, such a massive deal for a dubbed film is considered unprecedented in the industry.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, who also co-wrote the story with Yash, the film features cinematography by Rajeev Ravi and music by Ravi Basrur. The star-studded cast includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth, Huma Qureshi and Tara Sutaria in key roles. The teaser released earlier has already generated significant buzz among fans.

Following the global success of KGF: Chapter 2, Yash’s market reach has expanded tremendously, and audiences have been waiting nearly four years for his next big screen appearance. The substantial pre-release distribution agreement has further heightened expectations around Toxic. Expressing confidence, Dil Raju stated that his team is excited to distribute the film, which is reportedly structured on a commission basis.

With mounting anticipation and strong business deals in place, Toxic is shaping up to be one of the most eagerly awaited releases of the year.
