The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has announced that the Undergraduate Entrance Test (UGET) 2026 will be held on May 9, 2026, providing a single-window admission route to engineering courses in private unaided colleges across Karnataka.
The computer-based examination will be conducted in multiple cities nationwide to ensure wider access for candidates. COMEDK officials said the test will assess students on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, following the prescribed syllabus, with strict security and evaluation protocols in place.
Online applications are expected to open in the coming weeks, with detailed guidelines on eligibility, exam pattern, and counselling to be released on the official COMEDK website. Successful candidates will be eligible to participate in centralized counselling for seat allotment based on rank and preference.
With the exam date set, aspirants have begun intensive preparations, as COMEDK UGET remains one of the most competitive engineering entrance exams in the country.
