Centre Greenlights Two Key Tourism Projects for Mysuru

The Union Tourism Ministry has greenlit two key Mysuru tourism projects Swadesh Darshan under the Swadesh Darshan 2.0 scheme, allocating a total of ₹21.18 crore to boost the city’s heritage and eco-tourism appeal. Announced by Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar, the Mysuru tourism projects Swadesh Darshan include an Ecological Experience Zone (EEZ) with ₹18.47 crore and a curated Tonga Ride Experience Zone with ₹2.71 crore.

These Mysuru tourism projects Swadesh Darshan will be executed by Karnataka Tourism Infrastructure Limited (KTIL) and aim to promote immersive nature-based activities and highlight Mysuru’s royal-era charm. MP Yaduveer Wadiyar stated that the Mysuru tourism projects Swadesh Darshan will significantly elevate the city’s tourism potential, with Union Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat assuring full central support for timely implementation.

With more proposals in the pipeline, the Mysuru tourism projects Swadesh Darshan mark a focused push to upgrade infrastructure and accelerate Mysuru’s development as a premier cultural and ecological destination.
