The Darshan The Devil movie, one of Sandalwood’s most anticipated releases this year, is scheduled to hit theaters on December 11. This marks the second instance of a Darshan film releasing while the actor is incarcerated, following Sarathi in 2011, as he remains in jail concerning the Renukaswamy murder case.
Director Prakash Veer emphasized that the Darshan The Devil movie will highlight the actor’s range. “Audiences will be thrilled to see Darshan portray a range of emotions and characters, showcasing his versatility,” he stated. Veer revealed that Darshan completed the shoot despite severe back pain after obtaining bail, opting to avoid surgery to prevent further delays.
Originally conceived during the Tarak shoot, the Darshan The Devil movie features a revamped narrative style tailored for contemporary audiences. While Darshan initially aimed for an October release, VFX work extended the timeline. The film stars Rachana Rai as the leading lady, with a supporting cast including Achyuth Kumar and Mahesh Manjrekar, and music by B Ajaneesh Loknath. Veer added that he plans to meet Darshan before the release, acknowledging the unwavering support from the actor’s family and fan clubs during this challenging period.
