A major controversy has erupted around Bigg Boss Kannada, with a Kiccha Sudeep Bigg Boss Kannada complaint filed before the Karnataka State Women’s Commission alleging caste discrimination, physical assault, and disrespectful behaviour on the show.
According to reports, social activist Sandhya Pavithra N lodged a formal complaint naming host Kiccha Sudeep and contestants Ashwini Gowda and Rashika, accusing them of multiple violations inside the Bigg Boss house.
Serious Allegations in the Complaint
The complaint alleges the following:
1. Remarks by Kiccha Sudeep
Sandhya claims that Kiccha Sudeep made insulting and aggressive remarks toward contestant Rakshita, promoting disrespectful behaviour towards women during the televised interactions.
2. Caste-Based Comments by Ashwini Gowda
It is alleged that Ashwini Gowda made caste-discriminatory remarks about Rakshita, including using coded references such as “S Category”, which the complainant says amounts to caste mockery.
3. Physical Assault by Rashika
Contestant Rashika allegedly assaulted fellow contestant Malavalli Nataraj (Gilli), violating social norms and the Bigg Boss code of conduct.
Women’s Commission to Seek Clarification
The Karnataka State Women’s Commission is now expected to:
- Review the written complaint
- Seek clarification from the production house
- Issue notices to the television channel airing the show
- Examine video footage to evaluate the allegations
The Commission has also acknowledged public interest in the matter due to the gravity of the charges.
