In a unique response to audience feedback, the makers of the Kannada film *45* have integrated the promotional track Afro Tapaang into the movie’s climax. The 45 film Afro Tapaang song, which was originally created solely for marketing, has now been added to the final cut after strong viewer insistence.
The song features a powerful collaboration between stars Shivarajkumar, Upendra, and Raj B. Shetty, alongside children from an African ghetto, and is sung by MC Bijju and Nishan Rai. It conveys the film’s core message of karma and good deeds. Initially, the filmmakers had announced that *45* would contain no songs, making this a notable exception driven directly by audience demand.
Produced by Ramesh Reddy under Suraj Productions, the high-budget film brought together three acting powerhouses Upendra, Raj B. Shetty, and Shivarajkumar for the first time. Despite a terrific opening weekend, the film also faced challenges with piracy. With music by Arjun Janya and cinematography by Satya Hegde, *45* delivers a visually rich narrative conceived during the COVID-19 period.
